FASTPAY is a flexible, easy to use payroll management system that is designed to easily adapt to the unique client payroll configuration whilst maintaining its stability and reliability.

System Features

Employee Information

All relevant Employee Bio data: - Names, Staff number, Identification numbers, payment mode, Job grade & Function, Nationality, Gender, Dates of joining and departure etc.
The system can store data for more than one thousand employees.

Multiple Payroll groups

Employees can be categorized into various groups as required. The user can then process a single group in isolation or consolidate all the groups into one. The salary parameters can also be made to behave differently in different groups.

Job Grades & functions

A comprehensive management of salary scales and job-grades has been incorporated to provide for effortless determination of the correct earnings of an individual.

Individual salary increments can also be automated at the Anniversary of an individual in accordance with the defined job-grades and the corresponding ‘steps’.

User definable parameters

FastPay provides for user definable parameters whose formulae and relationship can be developed by the user to cater for both complex and simple payroll scenarios. Rules can also be incorporated in the formulae to further enhance ease of use and minimize errors in processing.
These include unlimited deductions and allowances.

Scheduled Deductions and earnings

Certain salary parameters such as loans and long-term advances that are period dependant have been catered for. A special facility has been incorporated to handle such parameters and provide for different interest calculation schemes.

Variable statutory tables

The user can easily alter the various statutory tables as required.

Cost Center allocation

Cost center definition and allocation is provided as a standard feature in the fastPAY system.

Multi-currency

fastPAY supports conversion of employee’s pay into various currencies.

Audit Trail

Every significant change made by the user is logged by the system thus building up a useful audit trail.

Security

An integrated Security profile has been incorporated in the fastPAY system to ensure confidentiality and integrity of data.

Historical data

Historical information can be accessed easily and the user can define the history period.

Reporting

FastPay provides for all reports that are required by the users as follows:

• Management reports: Variance reports, Control totals, payroll summaries etc
• Accounting reports: Journal Voucher, Cost center allocation, Audit trail, etc
• Payments reports: Bank transfers, Coinage analysis, Cash/ Cheque lists
• Employee reports: Payslips, statements, Labels, etc
• Statutory reports: P9, P10, P10a, NHIF, NSSF, HELB etc
• Custom reports using the integrated report writer

Network ready

The system is network ready and can be used in a multi-user environment.

Security

The security structure of the system allows for different user levels, which are determined by the user passwords. The users are assigned rights according to their levels which will determine the passwords.
This ensures that data integrity and confidentiality is maintained.

 

Back up facility

The system is allows for backups and data recovery to be from within the system.

Integration with other systems

The system can integrate with other systems, either HR or Financial systems, as long as they are running on relational databases.
